The draft law on the free port in Vladivostok

On a seminar in Primorsky Krai was presented the draft law "Free port of Vladivostok", developed by the Ministry for the development of the Russian Far East.

The document was represented by the adviser to the Minister Pavel Volkov.Previously, text of the document was published on a United portal of information disclosure on the preparation of draft legislation for public comment (text and its discussion are available here).

Free port of Vladivostok with lighter tax regime was offered by the Russian President Vladimir Putin during the Federal Assembly on December 4, 2014.Ministry for the development of Russian Far East is a main performer of the president's message.Because the term "free port" is not legislative, appropriate regulatory framework is under development."In fact, a free port in Vladivostok will be the development of ideas of such institution as the area of advanced socioeconomic development", - said Alexander Galushka.

Pavel Volkov said that the Ministry prepared three bills concerning legislative definition of "free port" and the corresponding changes in federal tax laws.

Experts, regional administration and the Assembly make suggestions and comments on the bill during 10 days.
